Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. Windows 95 will scan the disc and begin the installation process. If the setup does not start automatically, go to the Start Menu in the Windows 95 taskbar and select "Run". In the "Run" dialog box, type the CD-ROM drive letter,( i.e. F:\) SETUP.EXE or choose the "Browse" button. Select the appropriate drive letter under "Look In", then click on the SETUP icon. Click on "OK" to begin the installation. The Install Shield wizard will appear. When this wizard is complete, click on "Next" to continue or "Cancel" to abort the installation. Click "Next" to continue the installation in the Welcome screen, click "Back" to go to the previous screen, or "Cancel" to abort the process. In the Change Destination Directory dialog box, click on "Next". This will create a directory called "C:\MPIXELS" on the local hard disk. Note: As the installation progresses, the system will be checked for any necessary files needed to run the MovieCD program. For example, if Microsoft Video for Windows already exists on your system, it will not be reinstalled. The MovieCD program will make all the necesary modifications to your system files. Once the Motion Pixels Program Group is created, click on "Finish" to complete the installation. The MovieCD program will launch automatically. Please consult the "Using the Remote Control" section for more information. To remove the MovieCD program from the system, go to the Windows 95 Start Menu, select "Settings", then "Control Panel". Click on the "Add\Remove Programs" icon and choose "The Motion Pixels Movie Player". Click on the "Add\Remove" button and confirm that you want to delete the files. The Uninstall Shield program will launch and remove all applicable files from the system. Close the "Add\Remove Programs" dialog box when finished. Windows 3.1 Installation ======================== To install the MovieCD program under Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups 3.11, do the following: Insert the CD disc into the CD-ROM drive. In the Windows Program Manager, select "File", then"Run". In the Command Line box, type the CD-ROM drive letter,( i.e. F:\) SETUP.EXE or choose the "Browse" button. Select the appropriate drive letter under "Drives", then click on SETUP.EXE. Click on "OK" when ready to proceed. Click "OK" in the Run dialog box to begin the installation. The Install Shield wizard will appear. When this wizard is complete, click on "Next" to continue or "Cancel" to abort the installation. This error message is not an error messages at all, but a status message stating that your video performance will increase if you have a DCI driver for your specific video adapter. Please consult the manufacturer's website for more information. To remove the MovieCD program from the system, click on the Uninstall icon in the Motion Pixels Program Group.
